85% Monette's Vineyard Grenache and 15% River Rock Vineyard Syrah

Grenache as it should be:  feral and uninhibited.  Intense bouquet of rose water, wild thyme and rosemary, and Christmas spices. Bing cherry, red fruit, kirsch, and roasted meat. Vivid and lengthy finish makes this hard to resist. Unabashedly feminine.

100% River Rock Vineyard Syrah

This wine exudes the sense of place that is the cobblestones of Milton-Freewater. Plowed earth and forest floor with hints of lavender and nutmeg on the nose. Wet stone drenched minerality. Gaminess and bacon fat canvass the mid-palate then give way to green olive, blueberry, and dried figs. Lush and velvety with a long juicy finish.

94% Syrah co-fermented with 6% Viognier
 

Brooding, complex, and rich yet surprisingly elegant. Aromatics of violets, white pepper, and pipe tobacco open up to a core of crushed stone and granite enveloped in blackberry and boysenberry compote. Espresso, dark chocolate, and exotic spices accentuate a long expansive finish. Compelling.

92% Syrah co-fermented with 8% Viognier
 

Fresh wild flowers and lavender with subtle hints of bergamot, pink peppercorns, and menthol. Granite and cool ash envelope a core of dark fruit with roasted meat, cedar, and iodine leading to a long effusive finish. Full-bodied yet elegant with beautiful well-integrated natural tannins.

80% Grenache and 20% Syrah

Beautiful aromatics of wild herbs and lavender with just a hint of sweet spices. Medium to full bodied yet balanced and elegant. The velvety smooth mid-palate is loaded with black raspberries and black cherries that mingle nicely with chocolate and cinnamon. Natural acidity and ultra-fine tannins result in a juicy and long finish.

92% Syrah co-fermented with 8% Viognier

Lovely bouquet of violet, wild flowers, eucalyptus, and cassia bark. Notes of crushed granite, white pepper, and clove mix seamlessly with blackberry and blueberry. Expansive and concentrated but without overripe fruit and intrusive amounts of oak. The extra-long finish is driven by natural tannins and acidity.

Mineral laced, clean, and balanced, this Viognier shows exotic citrusy and flowery aromatics with hints of orange blossom and mint. Nice mid-palate concentration with tangerine and apricot flavors. With time in the glass, flavors of Asian pear and apple emerge. The zesty finish lingers nicely with just a touch of citrus peel. This wine is intended to be enjoyed at the dinner table. 61% XL Vineyard Mourvèdre, 39% Yellow Bird Vineyard Syrah

Classic Mourvèdre characteristics of gaminess and meatiness accented with black raspberry and licorice. A dense bouquet of dried flowers, garrigue, and white pepper with an iodine driven minerality. The finish is pure and lively with nice acidity and supple tannins.

93% Syrah co-fermented with 7% Viognier

A darker, more brooding version of Yellow Bird Syrah. A powerful nose of spice box, forest floor, and dried herbs follows into a voluptuous mid-palate that is loaded with blackberry compote, bramble, nutmeg and clove, and accented with tones of cool ash and camphor. Full-bodied with a long expressive finish.

80% Grenache and 20% Syrah

Beautiful aromatics of rose water, spring flowers, and garrigue. A plush mid-palate is loaded with black cherries, kirsch, and raspberries and is complimented nicely with an earthy minerality. Natural acidity and ultra-fine tannins result in a juicy and long finish.
